NPD Group Reviews Holiday ‘Crunch Time’

Brick & mortar visits up 6.5% in final week before Christmas.

Those last minute shoppers came out during final week of the holiday season, according to the Shopping Activity Weekly Holiday Trends report from The NPD Group. For the week ending December 26, 2011, there was an increase in the number of shoppers in the market, with 69% of US consumers shopping at brick & mortar retail compared to 68% the prior week.
